From the Airbus web site - Airbus has launched a new web site section specifically dedicated to air safety subjects.

Called “safety first”, this enables the free download of the Flight Operations Briefing Notes, which were produced in co-operation with the Flight Safety Foundation. In addition, this section carries articles and interviews on safety related subjects.

Designed particularly for pilots, the briefing notes have already been highly appreciated by a large number of airlines since their publication and are considered as a valuable contribution to flight safety. Their wide distribution can only be of interest to the flying community at large, hence Airbus’ decision to make them freely available on its internet site.

They will be progressively published on the “safety first” part of the site with new entries on a monthly basis.

Well done Airbus, this adds to the many excellent books in the “Getting to Grips With … ” series.

Airbus produces valuable safety information. From past employment, I was aware that all Airbus operators had copies of the “getting to grips with” documents; however, I am now out of active flying, but still wish to obtain copies of the latest documents.
I have hard copies of getting to grips with:
Cold weather operations
Cat 2/3 operations
Long range flying
ETOPS
ALAR
Are there any more documents in the series?
Are there any electronic versions available for download?

Alf, I have seen G to G W document on FANS, Noise, and Modern Navigation, but I don’t have an electronic copy of any of these. However, aerolearner appears to have most of them on his excellent web page; for an electronic version of G to G W Performance also see: Getting to grips with aircraft performance (http://www.pilotosdeiberia.com/areatec/airbus_olm2002/GTG_perfo.pdf): use ‘save as’ for the 8 Mb pdf file.
This originates from an Airbus CD on the operational liaison meeting in 2002

The latest addition to the Airbus Safety Library is a briefing on “Preventing Runway Incursions”. This is an excellent document for both pilots and ATC.
