Ove the last few weeks I have noticed that there are a lot of ex-Maersk and Sterling drivers leaving us in large numbers. I understand app. 40 F/O's and another 15 line training Capts left or are leaving for EK.

Can anybody confirm this? Is this the reason that a lot of the contractors have been moved around or is that part of the "fix the base of the contractor and p*ss them off for a few quid program"..

Lets not have another Ryanair bashing. We all know it's a sh*t airline to work for. If you treat your staff like sh*t, they will leave at the first opportunity. As the decent airlines pick up, no frills outfits like Ryanair will suffer. It's as simple as that !!!

Be good to the boys in bad times then they are good to you as
well in the good times and you will keep them happy.
I am wondering if there is a reward for the highest crew turnover
as well. MOL would qualify for it!. He does not give a sh*t. A
Pilot is just a dummy who fills the seat. If he snipes with the
fingers there are stil enough who follow the call. 40 left, 40 hired.
The headcount is balanced again. No mercy in that business.
