Hi all

I'm a licenced engineer and PPL - I have to go and survey an aircraft in Germany. If it's suitable I'll be flying it back to the UK. I've not flown on the continent before and was wondering if anyone could give me a few tips or point me in the direction of suitable guidance

Thanks

How are you getting there?

It might be worth going with another PPL and learning a bit on the way.

Let me know if your interested.:ok:

hi artgwebb,

it's really not much different then flying in England (yes, I flew to England once... ). Most speak English and the regs are "basically" the same. Just prepare yourself with all the necessary info and go.....

Westy

P.S. where exactly are you planning to fly to?

Sound like a possibility - I had thought I would just take a scheduled flight over - There will be two of us and only two seats on the way back. Wana talk some more? What experience do you have?
