I am very interested in the views of Pilots who have gone down this road.I am not interested in the merits of self spons,i am looking to try and gleen a picture, of the situation that those who chose to do so,find them selves in today.The self spons seems to be gathering huge momentum and im probably not alone in wanting to see how things are developing.Those of you who choose to post please keep it simple.I am trying to gauge the situation in Europe,so would ask only those holding European licences and having completed JAA/CAA type ratings at JAA/CAA approved T.R centres to go on JAA/CAA licences to post.
1.What A/C T.R did you self spons for, and did it include line training-if so how many hours.
2.When did you complete it
3.Are you now employed as a pilot on the same type of a/c as a direct result of having done the T.R.
4.Any brief comments you,de like to add
