******: only just seen your post. Oh well... it was on a BBC channel, it'll be repeated again and again (a bit like Discovery Wings)

Discovery Wings - that channel has so much potential but the blooming repeats drive me Bonkers!! Apart from Flight Deck, as I can watch them over and over again! I know I have a problem....

Talking of avaiation programmes, does anybody recall that weekend back in the early 90's where ITV dedicated a whole weekend to Gatwick airport?? I think Nicholas/Nick (??) Owen was host.

I thought last night's prog was quite good. Shame about the 'alternative' effing and blinding style of the two presenters but if you ignored that there was a lot of interesting information from the aviators.

As for the flying they did in the Extras at Kemble. Wow!!
I had no idea you could have so much fun with fixed wings. :D

Mian focus at Kemble was on Andy Cubin. Looked like Dave Roome in the other Extra. Some good in flight footage there and from the F16.

OU programmes were a bit different when I was a lad.

I was sat at the same table outside AV8 only last week!
