A big thank you to Thames radar for the marathon weekend. On Sunday you had up to five heli's all wanting to be in the same place at the same time!! A first class service from Thames made it all a lot easier.

Cheers

Helibelly.

Sunday you say? Raining was it?

i can see 'em now with their feet on the desks, counting their LVs wondering how on earth they're gonna cope with the afternoon rush into LCY...:yuk:

Now just you stop that!

On Sunday afternoon I returned in seriously sh1t weather, with a great big ugly CB sitting over Biggin and pissing on it big time, and the jolly nice lady at Thames whispered sweet nothings into my ear and caressed me onto the ILS in the kindest and most gentle way.

They are good, kind, noble people on 132.7. They deserve cuddles, not calumny.

All this praise for the Thames boys (and girl) upsetting you Rapunzel .7 ? By the way, hope the extra £1 on the LVs is working out OK for you.

Lon More - Thames is responsible for IFR traffic in/out of Biggin Hill as well as the City zone, no new map required.

Helibelly - Thanks for the comments. The weather as you know was marginal to say the least, bordering on SVFR. Our job is made much easier having highly professional pilots to work with on such occasions as these. Roll on Ascot week! :ok:

Ladies

The Thames grew DID get LVs for the transition period much to the chagrin (get a dictionary AlanM!) of the others in the Ops room.

You all need to calm down somewhat as the fun poked at the Thames Retirement Home is just that - FUN. They know they're onto a cushy number so they must also take the rough with the baby's ass smooth.

And my hair is no-one's affair.
