How many types of doors are now widely used on our Aircrafts around the world?
I have heard that and by my understanding, there are 2 types of doors used on the civil a/c which is plug and semi plug. plug type is wholly depends on the pressure differential inbetween the cabin and the outside air to have the bigger-than-the-frame door pushed to its locked position whereas semi plug uses mechanic crank-shaft as well as the cabin-outside air pressure differential to have the door locked.
What actually are they and how they actually work?
