Have just read the AAIB report about the thrust reverser falling off a PIA 747 at MAN a couple of years ago. Very interesting reading.

Now I'm hearing rumours of the same thing again, at MAN today.
Surely to lose one thrust reverser is misfortune, but to lose two is carelessness?? (Aplogies to Oscar Wilde)

My concern is with regards to maintenence at PIA, like... Do they have any???????

Not stirring, just don't fancy having a problem and needing to land behind one

What an absolute load of rubbish, a bit of smoke from a tyre that's all.

Me thinks you'll have a much bigger problem than a thrust reverser falling off if you try to land that close behind a B747 in your mighty C152!! :*
