I would like to add my congratulations and thanks.

I expected the site to be down for much of today.

Once again, very well done.

Yep just want to add my thanks too. PPRuNe is so much faster now - browsing and posting my usual brand of rubbish is so much easier!

Many thanks to all involved, as ever :ok:

The new server is the latest technology with a super-fast dual CPU and very high speed SCSI discs ..........

You were not wrong Danny :ok:

Thank you all for the kind comments but you should be thanking my technical Gurus who have done all the preparation and hard work. All I do is call them on the phone and hurl abuse at them and then sit back and bask in the glory.

Ridley and Drauk are the ones who slaved over hot keyboards at truly unsociable hours yesterday to make this transition as seamless as possible. Our new hosts have gone out of their way to make this all possible. For anyone who runs a business and needs serious hosting, you could not do better than contacting DSC (http://www.dsc.net/).

There is a permanent link at the bottom of every PPPRuNe page to their website.

Danny

As one of their key principles is We don't work on projects we don't think will succeed, that are uninteresting, that don't have adequate funding or resources of their own.I can only assume that they are happy with two out of three? :p :}

Well, done. It was all worth it, the service is now fantastic!
