I am going to Rhodes this summer, and would like to do some flying whilst i'm there, i have done a number of searches on here but req further info

First question - is GA as common in greece as UK, and what are the costs?

Are there any hidden dangers in flying in greece (i mean cost wise -ie being ripped off for landing fees etc) and risk of arrest for spying that sort of thing)

I know of one Aero club based at Rhodes airport, does anyone have experince of flying with them?, do they allow flights to other islands? do you have to join the club to hire aircraft? is it okay to hire aircraft with a PPL licence?

lot of questions I know but any answers appreciated

Have you tried 'phoning (or emailing) the aero club that you know about and asking them some of your questions? You'll probably get a far more useful (and definitive) reply than what you'll get via a intenet forum.

The other questions - about rip-offs etc - are probably better asked here though! Regret I can't help with them though.
