Tell me ,oh enlightened PPruners what are we all doing in this industry? We now work longer hours than we did 15 years ago,for less money, suffer more crap from crewing departments , stay in ever cheaper hotels and at the meerest hint of trouble find companies that were desperate for crews yesterday sacking them now!Why is it for years we have accepted the company line from the finance directors that the pilots cost too much money to employ that they will at all costs hold terms and conditions static while increasing working hours to increase we underworked and lazy aircrew .What is it about our overworked fraternity that has allowed this situation to occur.

It's no accident that the high paying, good conditions airlines are in trouble.

It was fun but it's over now.

Oui, but if we complain we only get "You know where the door is monsieur" so I just grin and bear it as better as i can.

But what it IS doing is making pilots angry and bitter, Ive never seen so many frowns and greying hair and image conscious pilots before, maybe its just the work!
