I'm planning my hourbuilding module at the minute and i'm interested in buying a share in an irish aircraft and doing my hours here at home. Is there any websites or magazines that advertise the sale of irish aircraft? I've looked in pilot, flyer and the likes but they are all really UK reg aircraft based in the UK. Can anyone shine some light on this for me or has anyone done it this way before and could share their experience eg. if they did it again what would they change. Thanks.

Steve

Paddy McG wander over to Abbeyshrule and ask for Sam (can't remember his surname). He imports aeroplanes from all over and puts them on the Irish register. If you are at the other end of Ireland, try the flying club at Coonah, there's a chap called Foncy there who seems to know everything that's worth knowing in the Limerick area.

Could be an option.

If you have an FAA license you may be grounded here.

I know where there is a nice Cub, or share in one going if you want to send a private message.
