Supermarine Walrus (Seagull) in RAN Fleet Air Arm service (http://www.fleetairarmarchive.net/Aircraft/Walrus.htm)
I'm curious about the Frigate(?). Any idea which ship it may be? RAN or RAN?

woomera,
a great link. thanks.
i am sure that it is in australian waters as my dad was in europe in 10 squadron, (later c/o) from '40 on till 45.
most probably ran. ???

Hi.
It's a Royal Australian Navy Cruiser - unidentified, according to the Australian War Memorial who have a copy of the pic in their archive. Could be HMAS Perth, Sydney, Australia, etc...
Do you mind sharing your Dad's name? It would be worth having a look at the AWM website - they have a lot on 10 Sqn Sunderlands (and ONE WAlrus - a very ellusive aircraft...) As you may now know, I'm working on a Walrus book - almost finished...
Cheers
