A question that has come up in D&G Reporting.

Would a heavy RPT going to JFK be normally cleared to go through class E airspace? If there are any NY controllers who could state what the score is it would be most apreciated.

In the US you are ALWAYS going to go through some class E airspace between either class C or B... Our Class A ends at FL180 and most class B only goes up to 10,000. If you fly here, you are going to have to watch out the window for GA flying around. It's the way that we do things here <G>... Power to the single engine FLIB driver <G>....
