Anyone no of or about any private flying/aircraft rental in Bahrain?:D

Im sure someone will correct me, but I am pretty sure the only place you can rent as a PPL in the middle east is in Dubai, I worked on and off in Abu Dhabi for a year and it isnt possible to just turn up either. There are all sorts of security hoops to go through getting passes etc (like everything in the ME :rolleyes: ) and as I didnt really know in advance when I would be free or for how long I never got to make a flight - If you are there permanantly it would certainly be easier, and I know someone who did fly there who said he kinda liked using an airport the size of Heathrow....
