Weather permitting, I shall be trekking all the way down to Old Sarum on Sunday for a 'flight experience' in a new type.
Do any forumites hang out there?

Not based there, but live just up the road and pop in fairly often.
A thoroughly friendly spot, you'll like it. Slightly funny departure and rejoin procedures and, although presumably you'll be flying with one of the local instructors, it's worth reading up on them carefully before you go.
And do have lunch there, the food is always excellent.
