In that New Yearsy spirit of co-operation, education and err incrimination ...... are there any tyros, PPLs, CPLs or ATPLs out there interested in a visit round ScOACC ?:cool:

PH-UKU - would be interested and would be prepared to promote it to club members (around 10), who all fly from Perth.
I organised a tour of EDI ATC around 18 months ago for the club, which went down very well (especially as some of the controllers are gorgeous, eh, ATCBabe??!! ;)).

Great idea - I am sure there will be lots of folk from Prestwick Flight Centre interested. We had a visit to PIK tower a year or so back and it was excellent.

After the success of the Farnborough trip down South, how about getting this thing off the ground up here ??
I will add a poll to see when people prefer to visit and then get PH-UKU and 10W to organise it ....... delegation ;)
No need to advise what you voted, but if interested in the visit, then add your names below to confirm you are interested (or still interested from before).
Official maximum number of visitors is 16, but there is a little leeway on this.

Okay okay okay 10W ... I get the hint ;)
How's about a couple of options .....
Friday 24th .... in the afternoon ? Me and 10W working til' 1pm ish. So we could make an afternoon visit after that ... and then ..... out on the town for a sherbet or two ?? :E
Saturday 25th .... ditto
Sunday 26th ... working in the afternoon so could do an early social lunch in Prestwick followed by a visit starting about 2pm ? (Could depend on our staff numbers)

25th or 26th of September and I will be there!
Saturday 25th September it is then (executive decision made ... mainly because it will be easier to get a room, tea and biccies without the endless weekday meetings taking place ;) )
Will also rope in a FISO if I can so they can chat about what they can provide in the way of a service.
New thread will be started so we can register those who are definites.
... followed by a Bash in the Prestwick area perhaps (I am sure we can rope a few ATCOs in to join us with the promise of beer) ... methinks that's a good idea. :ok: :E
