G'Afternoon,

I've posted this quiet a while ago now, and as it's a new year I thought I'd test the water & see if there were any groups at Coventry needing members (with an emphasis on cheap flying so no high performance (ie. expensive) types please).

Or people interested in forming a group, there's a few cheapish 'planes available at the mo, Austers, and I even saw a Group A Sherwood Ranger - which looks fun!

Please..anyone....:ok:

Start one.

Groups are not in high supply around these parts although they are in moderate demand so new and replacement "members" are not a problem.

topcat,

Somebody's setting up a group at Coventry with an RV-9a (which is nearly built). Contact details are on the PFA bulletin board here (http://www.pfanet.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=000158)

We went to see Steve last year and at £8500, it's too much.

I don't know if it's too far away for you, but there's a quarter share in an AA5 going at Cranfield, (no it's NOT an ex Cabair one!)

£5500 for the share and £50 an hour airborne. Free conversion training by instructor if needed.

If you're interested phone Rob on 07831 771986

Cheers

Magoo

Try PMing AERBABE for details of the AWA flying group. I believe they are one of the cheapest in the UK and are at Coventry.
