There have been some recent changes on the AIS website.
Full details in the FAQ here (http://www.ais.org.uk/aes/en/image/faq.pdf ).
Of particular note
VFR One Button Brief has a validity of 12 hours from time of request.
Contingency Briefings are updated at 0600 & 1400 UTC and have a
validity period of 48 hours.
Fax on Demand (FOD) (Operational Trial) information is updated every
15 minutes and has a validity of 6 hours from time of request.
The increased validity of the VFR one-button brief is welcome as it enables a single briefing to be downloaded that is valid for the whole day.
I was with AIS yesterday and more tweaks are in the pipeline in an effor to provide us with what we all want:-
Smaller briefs!

As it is the festive season you may care to send your seasonal greetings to [email protected]
They produce the NOTAM briefs for us, the AIP and the AIC's.
