as a mil controller who went jumpseating, thanks to the London civil guys who totally impressed me with their division of attention! It made me realise how totally different your controlling is to mil. Your controlling may not allow "tactical" freedom in the military sense, but it definately requires good awareness, and the patience shown to those who seemed not to have a clue about reporting points and the airspace they were in was immense!
I can also strongly recommend to any controller to sit in the cockpit for a PAR, it really shows you the "other" (pilots) side and gets you thinking about your own delivery and how it can be improved!!
anyway, enough of the ramblings of a mad man!
