Hello all, I'm a noob on this forum so please bare with me for awhile as I learn the unwritten rules of this forum.
Like many people, I too am interested in the CX cadet program. I already read the requirements and I think I meet all of them except that eye exam. (Still good to know that they will accept people wearing glasses).
I am wondering if a PPL would give me a competitive edge over other applicants. I already looked up a flying school in Vancouver, Canada (Montair Aviation to be exact and they say they got 3 graduates that is flying with CX thru the cadet program). Also, will they still ask you to conduct an eye exam if you have a current Cat. 1 medical cert.?
Also, do they conduct the interviews in English or Cantonese or both? My Chinese writing skills are close to zero after living in Canada for 12 years. However, I can still verbally communicate in Cantonese.
Thanks for your answers in advance. :ok:
