Yesterday an Austrian Airlines Fokker 70 encountered a birdsrike in ARN.
During climb through 4000 ft, a bird hit the Aircraft, just below the windshield of the copilot, ripping the fuselarge open. Blood was on his trousers. The bird then hit the right wing leading edge and also the right engine intake, causing extensive damage.
