Having been directed to look at the CAA Official record (from another topic)I have noted applications from KeenAir Charter, Krystal & West Midlands Aerocentre for the above routes. If they all get approved won't this be a bit overkill on this (secondary) route out of IOM. Won't JE have something to say (or are they just sitting back watching one operator after another come and go on BLK/IOM).

I'd say that JE are sitting back and waiting.
It's one thing being an existing operator of a particular route, starting up in direct competition and sustaining it, is a completely different kettle of fish.

The real world
Krystal have no AOC, without one thay can not apply for a route licence, rumour is they are applying for one.
WAC, have an AOC and a route licence, but only have a Seneca, they are from today hireing in KeenAir.
KeenAir have an AOC and a temporary route licence, they have been paid direct from Blackpool Airport, a charter rate up until last night, WAC take over the direct charter from today!!
British Nort West Airlines Limited start on Monday 10 December they have applied for a new AOC, and are wet Leasing in for 90 days.
Any more facts ???? :)
