If there are any lurking ATC or ops controllers at Mia or Fll. Just a quick thank you for your superb service during the unforcast thunderstorms on Saturday evening.

Regards from a grateful UK widebody....

I haven't noticed any MIA or FLL controllers on PPrune, if you want to leave them a message you can go to the Public BBS on our NATCA website http://www.natca.org (the link is on the lower right side of the web page).

You beat me to it Mike... I expect that they would like to have a good word about now considering the problems they are having with the new radar system right about now.

regards

Scott

Mike/Scott

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

However when I registered and went to post the message the preview clearly displayed my full personal email address so I stopped at that point. I am happy for contact to be made using the private message method used by PPRUNE but I am reluctant to display my address for all to see (my mailbox is already full enough with offers to extend my manhood and sell me Viagra!)

If anybody viewing this thread already uses the NATCA website perhaps they would be kind enough to post the link to this thread.

Many thanks

:ok:

gonadz;

Just to let you know and others here. Our public website does not sell, or in any way distribute e-mail address to anyone. We just keep everything public so that you can respond to folks. We believe in folks not getting spam too...

regards

Scott

Scott

Thanks for that.

I'm just a little wary of having my address viewable in any public domain. I'm no expert on the subject but have been told there are folk around who will harvest email address's from anywhere they can get them and then sell them on to anyone prepared to pay for them.

Possibly one of the reasons this website is so popular?

Cheers :)

Gonadz - shirley some mistake? There is no charge for this service. I just took pity on your username:p

PS The post has been seen and forwarded.

Scott - I can see where gonadz is coming from (if that is not a pun:cool: ). I would have thought that an email sniffer would easily get all the addresses from the site? No probs for me - it just goes on top of the pile of spam:(
