Can anyone give me an idea of the cost to zero time a Cessna 150 engine.

When I asked Norvic last year the answer was just under £10,000 (whether that was inc or ex vat I didn't ask).

If the engine is going in a permit aircraft and only needs a major overhaul (zero time but without a new logbook) then there are meny options that are considerably cheaper.

Mr Magoo,

A very good mate of mine took a 400hr from factory-new Continental 0200 out of a CofA Condor (AAAAaaaah Condor......) fairly recently and still has it.

Are they the same donkeys? Dunno myself. However, if it is, it might(?) be for sale for heaps less than ten gees, leaving you with a valuable/ saleable core too..

I repeat that this was a factory new unit with all ancilliaries and not just zero-timed. We all know what 'zero timed' can mean.

He might even throw the Condor in with it.....

PM m if you wish and I'll fwd.
