Does anyone recall this incident, maybe late 60s?

I believe that it went off the end of 28R into a cabbage field in fog. The story goes that the F/O walked to a nearby house to raise the alarm.

It was Air Canada and they ran off the end of the then 28R into a cabbage field. I believe it was an aborted t T/O.

It couldn't happen today. For one thing the cabbage field has been built on.

Is that the same field in the infamous Vulcan accident?

Approximately, where did it finish up in relation to today's perimeter road and the A3044 road ?

They were either January King or Savoys worth about 6d gross each, I knew the farmer a grower/salesman in Brentford Market (now Western International). I think the vulcan and Air India also contributed to his compensation fund.
