Should Flight Instructors be paid minimum wage or be happy that they have their first aviation job all a take what they get?
If they should be happy with what they reiceve, where should it end? 3/4 min wage?, 1/2 min wage?, less?

Of course they should get considerably more than the minimum wage Geoff..... trouble is all the time people LOVE to do their job (common particularly in sports and leisure fields) there will be those out there who are only too pleased to earn a living off their back! The term, I believe, is leeches (not to be confused with lychees which have a more meaningful purpose 'pon this ere planet)

:D

Flight Instructors should be paid more than the minimum wage. It might be an idea to form a group or association to decide on some general guidelines.
But it's like the chicken and egg, as long as some are prepared to do the job for almost nothing, the rate of pay will always be a problem.
