I will be flying with BRitish Midland from LHR on Friday 29th to Milan. Could you tell me if I will be effected by the baggage strike.

No you should be OK
BMi are handled by Aviance and they are not going on strike.

You will have no problems with bmi - but you might have difficulty finding a Friday 29th this side of Christmas !!!!:O

Swissport, I think. MH/LH and a couple of others who they handle at LHR. It was seen in passing on BBC website.
Is a baggage strike anything like a bird strike???
