733 & 73G Rated?

I understand easyJet pilots are both 737-300 and -700 rated. What are the requirements for keeping this kind of "dual rating" current?

Is there a mandatory number of flights / landings on a single type over a given period? What about sim checks, do they alternate between the two variants or does that not matter?

The NG and classic are the same type rating - just a differences course is required, hence the ability to fly both at once.

In the company I work for (not eZ) there is no requirement to fly either in any specific time frame - our sim checks do indeed alternate between the two.
