A/c rental in Spain / Portugal

Wondering if anyone had any advice / recommendations about places in Spain / Portugal that allow for solo rental?

Hoping to go down with some friends for four / five days and rent two aircraft for some touring.

Preference would be for Archer / Arrow types and N Reg would be a bonus!

Also interested - I am in the Algarve for 2 weeks from Thursday, and thinking of doing some flying.

There was a good article in Flyer in March 03 on this. The club was Aeroclube Portimao in Alvor near Portimao. The author flew a 4 seater PZL-110 Kolber for £60 per hour
