Electronic Flight Bag

In the current edition of Boeing’s Aero magazine is an interesting article about their electronic flight bag system. Here’s a link to the magazine.

It looks pretty good; I’m wondering what views are on this type application. It could save a lot of paper, but is offering reduced fuel costs as a benefit realistic?, presumably you are still going to be doing your own calculations as a check, and its up to the captain how much fuel to take.
