I know the BAE-146 can operate out of London City Airport. Are there any other jet ac that can as well? eg CRJ?
Many thanks.

Currently served by the RJ fleet and recently visited by the Embraer 135 and legacy to gain certification. Fokker 70 used to and the D328 jet once popped in. On the GA side of things, FA50, F900 and all Citations, most recently, the Excel.

Does any-one know if the Embraer 170 has made its appearance in the city yet?

Not yet - but heard today that there is the posiblity of extending the area East of ATC in the docks to make some A318 sized stands - so the 170 looks possible!

yeah they've been talking about closing that water section. But so far it's only talk, for a long time already. I guess those tower boy's and girls like to watch the ripples on the water, for the soothing effect i guess

The 170 should have no probs. the ventral air brake option that cross air asked for is a follow on item but even without it 6 degree aproaches will be OK.
Of course the aircraft has to be certified first.
Comming soon.

Took a C130 in there some years ago, which was quite a giggle. The runway was fine, but the parking bays were a little small! :p
