I don't know to whom to address this (Clacton Sector people/LL Directors etc) so any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

Inbound to EGLL from South East Asia at 06:00 (local) on a Sunday morning. Is it usual to enter the Clacton sectors (13/14/whatever) via REFSO? What is the arrival procedure, and when is control transferred from Swanwick to West Drayton? What would be the likely frequencies? And what's the frequency for final approach & tower (arrivals)?

(the reason I ask is that I am picking Herself up from Heathrow next Sunday at Silly O'Clock. Being the nerdish sort of devoted boyfriend that I am :hmm: , I want to listen in on my transceiver and just keep abreast with what delays etc BAW18 [WSSS-EGLL] is experiencing).

The first UK freq is 127.82 for a LHR inbound. This freq is based at Swanwick.

The aircraft will then be transferred to West Drayton on 129.6 However usually at this time in the morning 124.92 is used.

If my memory serves me correctly it may then be transferred to TC Lam on 118.82.

No idea about LL director but I am sure someone wil post later:O

LL INT N 119.72
LL FIN 120.4
LL Tower 118.5 (if before 0700 local, 118.7 after)
LL Gnd 121.9 (121.7 if after 0630 - although may still be 121., Ground may not split on a Sunday morning.)

And you can bet it'll have to wait for ages to get a stand, and even then the guidance won't bew switched on!
