Is it true that 6 senior pilots were made redundant, so 6 Maccflight cadets could be employed. Are they still fighting it out in the IRC.

Ah yes, become a Maccair cadet, and learn how to talk on the radio (Cos thats about all they learn).

Spinner head- what a load of bs. Are you really trying to tell me that if you were a F/O on a turbine you'd be sitting there twiddling your thumbs & not learning anything at all...? If so, that's all well & good (I guess) but I find it hard to believe.

Don't forget - just because someone's doing things differently to the way you did them doesn't necessarily mean they're doing it all wrong...

Spinnerhead, from the sounds of it that's all they would learn if they were flying with you.

If the cadets fly leg for leg than they will learn heaps.

All depends on the quality of the Captain they fly with, and the airlines approach to it all.
