Sunshine Express Airlines commenced opertions on the Brisbane to Coffs Harbour route this week. This follows the airlines first move into NSW a few months back when it commenced flights between Brisbane, Tamworth and Armidale.

The airline has purchased another Shorts 360 from Sunstate and may use this aircraft to expand the Brisbane to Coffs Harbour route to include other NSW coastal towns.

I hope they have more success on the route than the last five operators!!

Good luck to the champions.

Choice is what it's about.

Many are opting to travel/holiday locally instead of tip-toeing through suicide bombers overseas, so lets hope that demand is enough for them all.

I hope they do Torres.

So far the BN-TW-ARM route is going strong and early indications are the BN-CH will so the the same. PMQ may be added very soon with local's keen to have their link back to BN.

In other regional news a new regional with links to Transair in BN will commence operating on the IVL-SY route next month using a Metro 23.
