More than one aisle, perhaps? (i.e. more than two columns of passenger seats).

Isn't the BAe-146 considered as a widebody? (one aisle 2+3 seats)

I believe it is having more than one isle (i.e. the B-767 vs B-757 etc).

Hej Tor. A widebody aircraf is an aircraft with more than one aisle. It is more a "nick name" for that type of aircraft. The BAe146/Avro70/100 are not widebody aircrafts. It has nothing to do with number of pax, or if it carry containers. A B-767 is a widebody, where the B-757 is a slimbody.
