This won't get you far but it's where airline reservations (including BA!) are headed New Distribution

With British Airways recently announcing the resumption of flights between London Heathrow and Jeddah, the Airlines Asian network is slowly but surely getting back to what it was like prior to the covid 19 pandemic

Several destinations on the British Airways Asian network have been recently resumed or are about to be including the following.

Abu Dhabi
Bangkok
Jeddah
Kuala Lumpur

Other destinations that were previously on the British Airways Asian network prior to the covid 19 pandemic and have so far not returned include the following.

Damman
Muscat
Osaka
Seoul

Two former destinations that were previously on the British Airways African network prior to the covid 19 pandemic and have also yet to return are Durban and Mahe.

I wonder what former British Airways destination out of those listed above will be the next to resume after the relaunch of Jeddah 🤔

Seoul and Osaka would be impeded by Russian airspace so that's probably the main reason they've yet to return.

Muscat is served by Oman Air who will be joining OneWorld later this year so whether BA indeed add their own service to enhance connections or are happy to stick with that I guess could go either way.

It appears to be a valiant attempt by IATA to drag systems into this century. My cynical guess is that the new interface will still feed back to the old systems - which is where the problems lie.
