An A check is not the requirement......Active storage checks involve the initial preparation and then repeat items on a regular basis

Does going for a 10 min flight without pax make it easier for pilots to continue to be deemed current ?

Yes, flights are being used for training/currency.

Stored aircraft rotation

With very little in the air over UK I’ve noticed Ryanair seem to fly there planes every few days even if it’s just a quick up & down flight, this morning a BHX flight of about 10 minutes, yet jet 2 TUI etc don’t seem to keep their a/c on the move ?

Aircraft in Storage

None of the stored stuff at Norwich has been getting airborne (mainly BA Cityflyer and KLM)!

It depends on the airline. Putting a boeing into storage is a fair bit of work, then weekly maint and then again to bring back to service. So it will depend on the bean counters as to which is more financially efficient. I suppose the flying option kills 2 birds with one stone though as it keeps crews current aswell.
