Who does the Corendon flight to Marrakech operate on behalf of? It seems to be weekly. I did try Google but no luck

CFE4454 LCY-RTM operated by JOTA RJ85 RTM-LCY arrives STN 1227 on diversion.
Low fuel state declared on approach after extensive holding & with no handling available.

Don't Menzies provide handling for Cityflyer at STN ?

Flightrider 2nd Mar 2018 17:27

I think anyone reliant on Menzies at Stansted right now needs a very good Plan B. Operation in meltdown.

Who do they handle now? Are they handling the new airlines? Primeair, Zoom Emirates.

Are Stobart allowed to go for these?

Zoom?? Are you sure about that?

STN406 3rd Mar 2018 10:52

I would think most would go to Swissport. In terms of Emirates I think they may bring dnata here IMHO.

Was a rumour months ago but nothing was ever substantiated

Zoom Airlines went bust ten years ago. Zoom Air is a small Indian operator based in Delhi operating 5 CRJ200s.
I can't see either operating into the UK any time soon.

Would MAG want another handling agent? I do though think cargo needs a separate handler as Swissport have the monopoly and only warehouse however Stobart would be sniffing that surely.

End of Menzies

Menzies will be pull out on 1st April

STN406 3rd Mar 2018 22:33

I believe TNT and UPS self handle. I may be wrong on these. I know FedEx definitely self handle.
But apart from them, all others Airlines are done by Swissport after they took over Servisair. As it’s been mentioned.
I have today seen the Stobart operation for the first time.
Good news for any of you who collect Stobart truck names as the new tugs here are all named.
I nice touch to the operations I think.

I heard this also. Stobart aren't permitted to handle any other airline apart from EZY in their first year of operation.

So I wonder if this means Swissport will inherit Aurigny, BA, BMI and Loganair by default?

They've already gained Air Corsica, Primeria and WOW. I assume Emirates as well, hence why Menzies are pulling after not winning that contract either.

I doubt dnata will come in until Emirates is a bit more established at STN.

The release is not put together too well as it also claims 6m customers at STN,which is the same total as LTN!!!..I think not.
