July was BHX busiest month ever
Birmingham handled 992,882 passengers in July 2003 up 15.6% on July 2002, it also recorded its busiest day ever with 36,128 passengers passing through the two terminals on 18th July.
So far this year BHX has handled 5,081,773 pax up 14.9% and the rolling year stands at 8,687,419 up 12.3%.
One million pax should be hadled in August and September and over nine million should be acheived in 2003.
MyTravelLite carried 110,000 pax in July and are now the largest carrier at BHX with 11% of the July traffic.
With more new routes in prospect this Winter this level of growth should be sustained into 2004.
