My Travel DC-10

Yesterday teatime(Thursday) I watched said a/c taxi out, line up start to throw its self down the runway, half way down pull the plug , and taxi back in, wot happened.

Said aircraft was G-DPSP operating the MYT257 MAN-ACE. Problem was something to do with the throttles. Was on my way out the door when it happened so didn't get the full story. Pax flew the following day on G-TDTW.

Stand 22 - you seem to be the man/woman in the know with MYT - what's the full story with the 2-engined DC-10 currently plonked on 65-ish please?

No2 engine ingested something it shouldn't have whilst on a training flight. Lining from the engine intake if I remember correctly. Its had an engine change and thrust reverser repairs but should be back in service today(13th)
