What was the final outcome at MAN on the 28th May - was it a disaster at the airport as many had predicted?????

Sorry to dissapoint ExNAV and the other Manchester bashers but 28th May went very well - yes there were a couple of hiccups but hindsight is a wonderful gift none of us are blessed with.
I am sure the Airport Authorities would agree that a couple of things could be improved (e.g. no of and control of coaches) but on the hole the 72 hour period went excptionally well given that no one really knew just exactly what was going to arrive until the actual day.

When we do get post rubbishing Manchester the writers tend to forget that not all airport employees work for the Authority and there are a number of professional outfits providing very good services to the airlines that operate in and out of Manchester and this constant carping tars everyone with the same brush. A bit like saying all pilots are cowboys when we no that is not the case?
