Exclamation Air-Scotland.com After The Hype!

I'd just be very interested to know whether the business model of using high-density aircraft (Boeing 757) on long mediterranean routes (like the canaries) is working out for air scotland?
How are they filling their aircraft?
Is the airline's ideas financially viable?
What do local people think of this new operation?
What is service like?

Can't speak for their scheduled ops, but I flew to the UEFA Cup Final on a charter with them.

Aircraft was an Air Holland 757 in Air Scotland livery. Cabin crew were a mix of Scotland and Holland, flight crew were Holland.

I thought the service was very good. Crew were professional but managed the passengers very informally.

The in-flight meals were actually better than some I've had on BMI or BA - though I guess that's dependent on how much the chartering company paid for meal service.

I liked them!
