Bad start for 'Hola' at Newcastle already?

Just noticed this evening when checking flight departures on Newcastles website to see what time my mates flight to Bodrum took off and i noticed a pretty lengthy delay........

HOA511 THESSALONIKI via SKIATHOS 1300 DELAYED

Bearing in mind as i type this its 2235 local as i type this now. Just a thought, anyone got any ideas whats up, aircraft gone tech etc?

Could we be seeing a repeat of the poor start we had by transjet from last year? I hope not!!

Apparently some parts of Greece have still been effected by the ATC strike. Well that’s what we were told!

Its definitely due to the Greek strike as the BY Zaxynthos is also delayed from 0840 this morning! A bigger delay than the Hola in fact.

The Hola flight HOA 523 from Belfast/Aldergrove to Heraklion today showing a 10 hour delay as a result.

Will also affect tomorrows Rhodes flight as well.
