Building work at STN
I see they are constructing a new large building next to the existing terminal at STN. Is this to be a new terminal or office space, it seems quite large and next to the Ryanair satellite… any local’s know of its purpose....

The construction work is for the new Radisson SAS hotel. I think it's due for opening in Summer 2004. There will be a link bridge built from the hotel directly to the terminal, making it our first connected hotel. The Hilton (near the long-stay car park) has a regular shuittle bus, and I presume the Stansted Manor Hotel (located outside the airports boundary) has similar.
