bmi A340 at Toulouse?

Have heard a rumour of a bmi liveried A340(?00) at Toulouse. Can anyone shed some light on this one?

Although it is rumoured that bmi are seriously looking at acquiring A340's for services to the Far East, I understand that the aircraft currently at Toulouse with the bmi tail on it is an A330.

Thanks ES, that makes a bit more sense. However, if this the "fourth" aircraft what will it be used for? SAA routes or something else? If SAA were going to use it, it would make more sense to paint it their colours from new. Let's hope there is a big announcement soon!

It seems SAA are happy with the lease of the 2 A330's, therefore, I would think that bmi will be looking for an extension of the 6 month wet lease on the JNB-CDG A330. If so, it makes sense that this new aircraft would be likely to resume the Manchester - Washington service which was suspended for 6 months.

4th A330 has been at Toulouse for a year or more. I believe it has just BMI tail colours. BMI have not taken delivery and last I heard Emirates were negotiating for it as a means of bringing forward some of their deliveries.

More to the point....

.... anyone know why the bmi A330 G-WWBB is a permanent fixture at CDG these days? Was on a stand last week, now parked up at the perimeter opposite Satellite 5...... any ideas?
