ideal routing SIN - FRA ??

checked through greatcirclemapper and noted that ideal route should take a flight from SIN to FRA roughly above tashkent.
understanding that more factors than distance go into flight planning (weather, traffic load, alternate airports, etc) i have more than once been SLF on that route and mainly flown over karachi, onwards across iran and then on a more westward heading across the black-sea.

would the above routing still be a fair / save bet in case there were hostilities in / against iraq ? or would one have to start looking at much extended flight times due to re-routings or possibly even intermediary stops ?

any info / comments welcome
