Well at NCL the charges are currently:

First there's the Landing Fee: £3.05 per half metric tonne or part thereof up to 3 tonnes, thereafter £6.10 per tonne or part thereof.

Then there's the Navigational Service Charge: £3.05 per half metric tonne or part thereof up to 3 tonnes, thereafter £6.10 per tonne or part thereof.

Plus the Passenger Service Charge of £12.55 per ARRIVING passenger on aircraft from departure points outside the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man or £7.25 per ARRIVING passenger on aircraft from departure points within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

(The Security Levy of £3.15 per arriving passenger is incorporated within the Passenger Service Charge.)

To add to that there are other carrying fees which add up to about £1 per passenger.

So for an Airbus A320-200 operating a domestic flight:
3 x £3.05 Landing fee based on maximum landing weight
58 x £6.10 Landing fee based on maximum landing weight
3 x £3.05 Navigational Charge
58 x £6.10 Navigational Charge
150 x £7.25 Assuming 150 passengers on board
150 x £1.00 Assuming 150 passengers on board
-----------------
£1963.40 Approximate Total Landing Fee

So for a Boeing 737-700 operating a domestic flight:
3 x £3.05 Landing fee based on maximum landing weight
61 x £6.10 Landing fee based on maximum landing weight
3 x £3.05 Navigational Charge
61 x £6.10 Navigational Charge
126 x £7.25 Assuming 126 passengers on board
126 x £1.00 Assuming 126 passengers on board
-----------------
£1802.00 Approximate Total Landing Fee

This data only refers to Newcastle though, and there are large differences across the country. Don't know whether that is any use....

Thanks guys, nice one! It was just a general question, that's all, just to get some idea of what sort of money changes hands as such! Anyone know what a 744 would pay at LHR? 6K?
