Bristol Filton

Some people I know are looking at setting up maintenance facilities in western UK and are looking at Bristol/Cardiff area. Filton looks interesting situated between the motorways but it seems to be surrounded by housing estates.
Anyone know how strong the anti brigade is in the area?

Well Woodman, from my limited experience the anti brigade have been strong enough to stop airlines using Filton instead of Lulsgate. About 6-7 years ago the buzz around Bristol was that the airlines wanted Filton developed as the main airport with its good motorway network and weather factor(its virtually at sea level, not nearly in the clouds like Lulsgate-700ft amsl.) This never happened which is a great shame because it would have attracted far more business for the area.
