9L-LDC Air Universal

This fine elderly Tristar was positioned at Mike 28 LHR yesterday reputed to be operating for Sudan. It is most unusual to witness an a/c with Sierra Leone reg at LHR, though not unique as 9L are seen at other UK ports from time to time.

Anyone out there know the history of the a/c and/or why it is registered 9L.
